Local boys get on National TV...
Yes indeed, your very own Preacher's Cycle Promotions (promoters of bike events in Florida, that would be us!) are building a bike for the Discovery Channel's Cafe Racer Program! Reverend Jim, Zane and Aloha-Terry are hitting the big screen in the fall. But lucky you, you can watch us behind the scenes thanks to the miracle of cheap small FLIP video cameras! We will be telling almost the whole story of the bike that we are building online...so stay tuned!

Sometimes we run into bike builders or craftsmen that deserve a
little closer look at what they are and what they do. Daniel Maag of the Swiss company Crazy Drive is one that deserves a good look.
The Daytona Bike Week is the biggest motorcycle show in the world. It was here that Daniel won 1st place in the shovel head class with his self made Harley "Aryan" in 2005. The "Aryan" was built in memory of all victims of Word War II 60 years ago and has no political motivation. The actor Branscombe Richmond offered his congratulations on Daniel's 1st. place.
In 2008 Daniel won 2nd place (judge's class) with the "Washington-Independence" which was built entirely of materials available at this time i.e. steel, cooper, leather, wood, etc. to celebrate the USA's 222nd Independence Day.
